Joint Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Amedco LLC and International Federation of Clinical Nerophysiology. Amedco LLC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physicians

Amedco LLC designates this live activity for a maximum of 31.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

International CME Accreditation

The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for 32.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. ACCME / AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM carry reciprocity with EACCME member countries and most international licensing bodies for physicians, with some exceptions. Physicians should check with their country/board for eligibility.

The UEMS-EACCME and the AMA has a signed agreement of mutual recognition of CME credits between Europe and USA for live and e-learning activities. A list of active collaborations can be found here:

CONFEMEL (Confederación médica latinoiberoamericana y del caribe) is the organization that represents and is made up of all the titular medical institutions with national representation, the founding institutions and the adherents of the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The countries of Latin America and the Caribbean within the scope of the agreement between UEMS-EACCME® , CONFEMEL and CGCOM-SEAFORMEC will be divided by regions for the operation of CONFEMEL, being the same: Andean Region: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela

Central American and Caribbean Region: Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Panama, and Puerto Rico

South Region: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

The EACCME® shall grant ECMEC® credits to National events taking place in Latin America and organized by Latin American providers part of or belonging to CONFEMEL. The applications related to National events shall be submitted through the SEAFORMEC/SMPAC platform for accreditation according to the agreement entered into between UEMS-EACCME® and CGCOM.

Australia and other countries NOT specifically listed: Several countries like Australia, Japan, South Africa, and New Zealand do not carry direct reciprocity with EACCME or ACCME. If an educational offering is held outside of such countries, or online (either live or recorded) attendees can manually petition and submit AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for relicensure to their individual boards. Anecdotal evidence suggests success in most cases.
