Firewall Statement

The 34th International Congress of Clinical Neurophysiology (ICCN 2026) maintains a strict promotional firewall to protect the integrity, independence, and scientific quality of all educational and research activities. This firewall ensures that sponsorship, marketing, and commercial interests do not influence scientific program development, abstract review, speaker selection, editorial decisions, or any other scientific content.

The ICCN 2026 Scientific Committees operates independently. Sponsors, exhibitors, and commercial partners have no role in evaluating abstracts, selecting speakers, determining session topics, or shaping scientific conclusions. All scientific decisions are made solely by appointed committee members based on merit, relevance, and scientific rigor.

Access to confidential scientific materials is restricted. Promotional staff, sponsors, and vendors do not receive unpublished abstracts, scoring data, committee minutes, or draft program content. Communications with sponsors are handled exclusively by the sponsorship team; scientific committees do not engage in promotional discussions.

Sponsorship benefits are transparent and limited to contracted deliverables. Branding, exhibit space, and industry-supported sessions are clearly identified as promotional. These activities do not influence or intersect with peer-reviewed scientific content.

The ICCN 2026 enforces this firewall through documented policies, role separation, and staff training. Any attempt to influence scientific content through promotional channels is prohibited and may result in corrective action, including modification or withdrawal of sponsorship privileges.

This firewall reflects the ICCN 2026’s commitment to scientific integrity, ethical standards, and the trust of its global community.
